About Dr. Grussenmeyer, Dentist in Cherry Hills Image of Cherry Hills Dentist

Dr. Paul Grussenmeyer earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1978. In 1985 he completed a two-year course at the Comprehensive Orthodontic Institute and went on finish a five-year orthodontic/TMJ course at the United States Dental Institute.

Dr. Grussenmeyer stays abreast of the latest technological advances in dentistry as an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry, The American Equilibration Society ( TMJ & Myofascial Disorder Group ), the American Endodontic Society, and Dentistry for Diabetics. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Southern Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry. He was awarded Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1986 and in the Academy of Dentistry International in 2005. Also in 2005, he received his Associate Fellowship and Certification with the World Clinical Laser Institute.

Dr. Grussenmeyer has given lectures to dentists, auxiliaries, and physicians on TMJ / Myofascial Pain Disorder evaluations and treatments, and has been published in the New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry Journal. He is a Dental/Medical/Legal Expert Investigator with over 25 years experience as an expert providing services for both plaintiff and defense disputes, insurance investigations for all of the major carriers in New Jersey, and second opinions for joint, ligament, and myofascial pain, and dental/medical diseases and injuries in the face, head, neck, and upper back areas.

Dr. Grussenmeyer strives to bring the latest and the best to his patients by thinking “outside of the box”, studying and evaluating the science and techniques not commonly pursued by dentists. For instance he has mastered skills in finding, injecting, and deactivating trigger points, and is the first doctor of any type using superpulsed biostimulation ( cold ) lasers in the Philadelphia / New Jersey area for a multitude of applications. His PHILOSOPHY on the fast changing technology in dentistry and medicine is to EMBRACE it when it ENHANCES what needs to done, but REJECT any technology when it INTERFERES with human relationships.

Please peruse his art website at www.PGCarvings.com to get an idea of his vision and expertise with his hands.
